Puppy Preschool  @ Pimpama Pet Vet

Pimpama Pet Vet has now started Puppy Preschool every Wednesday for our clients new members of their fur family. 

​

What's involved:

  • It is a 4 week course held on Wednesday between 6pm-7pm

  • The 4 fun filled weeks allow for you puppy to socialise, learn basic commands, toilet training, and much more.

  • Our puppy preschool has an open enrollment, which means at any week you can enroll your puppy. 

​

General course outline:

  1. Introduction - pups getting to know each other, establishing a routine at home to shape nice behaviour, using motivational training to provide effective communication and leadership, toilet training & crate training and exercise - Sit

  2.  Avoiding over-bonding and separation anxiety, desensitising pups to handling and grooming, and exercises - Drop & wait

  3. Health care, emergency care & first aid, and exercise - Come

  4. Social & environmental exposure, games & toys, exercise - Walking on lead, and Graduation

Bravecto

 flea and tick treatment

  • It is a flea and tick preventative in the form of a tasty chew.

  • One tasty chew provides 3 months protection from fleas and 4 months protection against paralysis ticks. Or there is a spot-on topical version that lasts 6months for fleas and ticks. 

  • Bravecto will provide effective control of fleas within 8 hours, and paralysis ticks within 24 hours after treatment.

  • Bravecto is available in 5 weight ranges for DOGS ranging from 2-56kg. If your pet weighs more than 56kg you can mix and match weight ranges
